Get a producer/director’s perspective on your film before you lock the cut. I’ll review your rough cut, fine cut, or near-finished film and provide detailed, actionable feedback focused on story, structure, pacing, performance, character, clarity, emotional impact, and what is or isn’t translating on screen.
Feedback is tailored to your film’s current stage and goals, with clear priorities for your next edit.
A Note on Runtime
For short films, I generally recommend aiming for 20 minutes or fewer. If your short exceeds that, part of my feedback may focus on identifying opportunities to tighten the film while preserving the story and emotional impact.
For features, approximately 90 minutes is a strong target for many independent films. If your cut runs significantly longer, I’ll specifically look at where pacing, structure, scenes, or sequences could be streamlined without sacrificing the filmmaker’s intent.
Submission Guidelines
Submit one cut per booking via a private viewing link.
Please include your project title, format, genre, current stage of post-production, and up to two specific questions or areas you’d like me to consider while watching.
Feedback applies to the submitted cut only. Review of a revised cut requires a new booking.
