About
Founded by director and producer Ella Danna, Willow Rose Studios is a Los Angeles– and New York–based narrative production company dedicated to queer coming-of-age and fantasy stories. Through Willow Rose Studios, we’re building a creative home for filmmakers and film lovers, gathering community around stories that feel like transformation.

Ella’s work centers on characters navigating systems that shape identity and belonging, stories that ask what kind of connection survives when someone chooses honesty over safety.
Ella graduated with honors from Fairfield University with a double major in Film, Television & Media and Italian Language, and earned her MFA in Producing from the American Film Institute Conservatory.

How We Work
